Eurostat: Romanian domestic users of natural gas pay 7.60 euros per Giga-Joule in 2007

The price of natural gas paid by domestic consumers in Romania is of 7.60 euros (without taxes) per GigaJoule (GJ) in 2007, according to Eurostat statistics. Last year Romanian domestic users paid 6.44 euros per GJ, according to the same source. The average price paid in EU countries for natural gas is of 11.68 euros per GJ in 2007, whereas in 2006 it was of 10 euros.
