Total electricity consumption in Romania stood at 28.931 billion KWh in the first seven months of 2014, down 1.2 percent compared to the similar period of 2013, shows preliminary data released on Wednesday by the National Statistics Institute (INS).Public lighting dropped by 24.9 percent, and household consumption fell 1.9 percent in the aforementioned period.
