China Nuclear Power Corporation, the single bidder for the construction of reactors 3 and 4 at Cernavoda

China Nuclear Power Corporation is the single company that has submitted an offer to participate in the tender organised by the Romanian state for the construction of the reactors 3 and 4 at Cernavoda nuclear plant (southeastern Romania), the general manager of the National Company Nuclearelectrica, Daniela Lulache, made the announcement on Tuesday.

China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) operates 11 nuclear units of 11,620 MW each and another 15,000 MW under construction and a turnover of over 4.25 billion euros and also assets worth 37.49 billion euros.

The construction project of reactors 3 and 4 is supposed to be worth 6.45 billion euros. However, the feasibility study following which the necessary investments were established is going to be revised.
