CNP: Romania's energy resources will stand in 2016 at 43.3 million tonnes of oil
Romania's energy resources will stand in 2016 at 43.3 million tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE), being up by 1.6pct against 2015, according to the Energy Balance Prognosis carried by the National Prognosis Committee (CNP).
Out of the total energy resources, 41.9 million TOE are primary energy resources, of which 26.8 million TOE are the production, 12 million TOE the import, and 2.9 million TOE are the stocks from year-start. Likewise, 1.4 million TOE are the energy in transformation stocks.
Most of these resources, namely 33.1 million TOE will go to the country's domestic use, while the 5.8 million TOE will be exported. At end-year, another stock will count for 4.3 million TOE, the CNP experts estimate.
Of the total domestic consumption, 3 million TOE are for the energy system, 1 million TOE will be in losses, and 23.3 million TOE will be available for the final use.
For the next three years, the energy resources will be on an uptrend by 1.6pct - 1.7pct, from year to year, following to reach 44.02 million TOE in 2017, 44.7 million TOE in 2018 and 45.5 million TOE in 2019, the CNP estimates show.
