AVAS officially purchases a 30-percent stake held by MEC in Petrom

Oil and gas company Petrom's shareholding structure has been subject to change this week, with the State Asset Resolution Authority (AVAS) officially becoming a shareholder in Romania's largest company after it had taken over from the Ministry of Economy and Trade (MEC) its 30,862 percent f the company's shares, reads a press release Petrom sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Wednesday.
