Vegetables, fruit imports worth EUR 691 M Jan into May, exports park at EUR 57.6 M

Imports of vegetables and fruit of Romania have totalled January into May EUR 691 M, by 6.5 pct higher as compared to the similar period of 2017, according to data centralised at the National Statistics Institute (INS). Exports saw EUR 57.6 M, up 5.4 pct against the same period of 2017, thus resulting a EUR 633.3 M in deficit. From 1 January to 31 May 2018, the FOB exports exceeded EUR 28.092 billion and grew by 8.8 pct as compared to same period of 2017. ...
