Trade: Gusturi romanesti products are sold in Delhaize shops in Belgium
Starting on November 20, three Delhaize shops in Brussels, Belgium, began selling 14 Gusturi romanesti products and two sorts of Romanian wine, reads a release sent by the Mega Image supermarket chain, which is part of the Delhaize Group.
'Mega Image supports the initiative of Romania's Embassy to Belgium concerning the inauguration of some stands exhibiting Gusturi romanesti products in three shops of the Delhaize Group in Brussels (Delhaize Flagey, Delhaize Debroux and Delhaize Chazal). The three shops were selected strategically, considering the fact that they are in the neighbourhood of the Romanian communities. Thus, we offer customers the possibility to relish the taste of the products made according to Romanian traditional recipes,' reads the above-mentioned release.
The three shops in Belgium commercialize such Gusturi romanesti products as Sibiu salami, assorted pickles, a dish of honey mushrooms, pickled cabbage leaves, pickled vine leaves, maize flour, cookies with raisins and walnuts, ginger bread with honey, plum jam, biscuits and pound cakes.
The Gusturi romanesti trademark, which is to be found with Mega Image solely, includes Romanian specific products, made in cooperation with local producers, who are well known for the quality and specific character of every area. The initiative of Romania's Embassy to Belgium mainly aimed to celebrate Romania's National Day and the winter festivals.
