Tourism : Romania to be partner country of International Tourism Fair in Stuttgart 2015
The Romanian and German authorities signed an agreement by means of which Romania will be the main partner in the 2015 International Tourism Fair in Stuttgart and thus benefit by publicity for the German public, Maria Grapini told Agerpres on last Thursday at the International Tourism Fair in Berlin.
'I have signed a partnership agreement with the organizers of the Tourism Fair in Stuttgart. In 2015 Romania will be the main partner. India will be the secondary partner. This means that the partner country is given the opportunity to reveal its value to a larger extent, that it has special facilities, from the position of the stand to the connected events. It is given much publicity. I think Romania will have something to gain from it,' said Maria Grapini.
Fifty Romanian companies attend the 2013 International Tourism Fair in Berlin, the greatest event devoted to the promotion of tourist destinations the world over. The above-mentioned fair is held on March 6-10, 2013. About 440,000 German tourists visited Romania in 2012, up by 13 percent from 2011.
