Tourism: Romania's Tourism Fair to bring together 280 companies from 24 countries

Romania's Tourism Fair over March 13-16 will bring together 280 companies from 24 countries, reads a release Romexpo sent on Monday.

Romania's Tourism Fair will cover an area of about 16,000 square metres and will offer the Romanians a varied offer of holidays at accessible prices. The cuts promised by the tour operators start from 10 percent and can even come to 50 percent in the case of the early booking offers.

Although Greece, Spain, Turkey and Bulgaria go on being some of Romanians' favourite destinations, according to the travel agencies, the operators also prepared exotic destinations for this year. People who want to visit India will pay about 1,000 euros per head for a 10-day stay and a 9-day round trip to China starts from 900 euros.

For people who are fond of holidays in Romania, the hotels and boarding houses both at the seaside and in the mountains are prepared to receive the tourists during the Easter holiday, but also in summer. This year the balneal and climatic resorts are again in the focus. Important investments have been made in them lately.

Romania's Tourism Fair is organized by Romexpo in partnership with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Romania, the National Association of Travel Agencies in Romania, the Employers' Organization of Balneal Tourism in Romania, the National Association of Rural, Ecological and Cultural Tourism in Romania and the Federation of the Employers' Association in Romanian Tourism.

At the same time Romexpo will also host a festival of spirituality, alternative medicine and complementary therapies, but also the SME Forum, the most complex B2B event in Romania devoted to SMEs.
