Liviu Voinea presented the data regarding the first 20 projects of public
investments in 2014 during the meeting of the Social Dialogue Commission
organised for the debate of the draft government decision for the approval of the
methodology regarding the priority of public investment projects.
“ The reason for the prioritisation of the public investment projects is the
following: 25% of the project have 90% of the money, but in the years to come it is
necessary to have 70 billion lei to finalise these projects. In how many years is the
budget capable of having 70 billion lei? We could allow to have infrastructure
transport projects for a period of nine years ? No, we can’t .What shall we do? As
the financial situation is at present, we need to have some projects, we can’t have 30
– 50 % for all projects and nothing finished, the purpose is to have at least 10-20%
of the projects finished. Another part of the projects should be stopped or given a
different funding source” Voinea said.
