Tender for the feasibility study for the Targu Mures-Iasi-Ungheni motorway will be launched by the end of 2016

Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos assured that the tender for the feasibility study and the engineering project for the Targu Mures-Iasi-Ungheni motorway will be launched by the end of the current government's term in office. 

Ciolos said on Friday, at the end of a meeting with Iasi businesspeople, that he hopes the procurement procedure is completed until next summer. 

"We are preparing the launch of this project by the end of this government's term in office. So we'll launch the tendering for the feasibility study and the engineering project and all the necessary building permits. We'll launch this tender by the end of the year for the procedures to be completed by mid-2017 and the contract to be awarded," Ciolos said. 

The Premier participated in the meeting with representatives of the Iasi businesspeople alongside director general of the National Road Infrastructure Administration Corporation Catalin Homor.
