Telecom. IT: Collaboration between Romania and USA in investment and cyber security field
Cyber security and development of commercial relations between Romania and USA were topics discussed on last Thursday by Alexandru Petrescu, the minister of communications and information society and Hand Klemm, the US Ambassador, at a meeting held at the ministry.
“In the context in which the development of bilateral relations with the US is a priority objective of Romania’s government, the agenda concerning the Strategic Partnership between the two states concentrated on subjects concerning cyber security an the development of commercial relations. The Romanian official reiterated the priorities of the Romanian presidency for the EU Council in the digital sector, the Americans showing interest in the topics discussed, both from the national and European perspectives. On the occasion of the meeting, the two officials pointed out the importance of the permanent development of the dimension devoted to cyber security of the Strategic Partnership, remarking the positive dynamics recorded in this field,” a press release of MCSI shows.
According to the source, the discussion of the two officials had in view topics concerning the development of E-Tax, E-Privacy, E-Government projects.
