Tarom debuts service to Dublin on May 1, enhances connectivity to Amsterdam and Frankfurt
Romanian flagship carrier Tarom debuts on May 1 the service to Dublin and will also enhance the frequency of its flights on the Amsterdam and Frankfurt routes, given that the occupancy rate is above expectations, the company informed.
The Bucharest to Dublin flights will be operated three times a week, on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday (departure at 21:30, arrival at 23:30), while the return flights will be scheduled on Friday, Saturday and Monday (departure from Dublin at 00:20 - arrival in Bucharest 06:05).
Roundtrip fares start from 170 euros, all taxes included, for tickets bought on www.tarom.ro.
'This route meets the needs of the Romanian community in Ireland, but also of the passengers traveling on business between Bucharest and Dublin. The flight facilitates connections with Chisinau, Istanbul or Athens, offering good connections to passengers traveling from Eastern Europe to Ireland,' Tarom said.
As far as the Bucharest - Amsterdam route is concerned, the new flights will be operated on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (departure from Bucharest at 13:30 - arrival in Amsterdam at 15:30, while the return flight will take off in Amsterdam at 16:20 and arrive in Bucharest at 20:05); prices start at 150 euros, all taxes included, for a roundtrip ticket bought on www.tarom.ro. The newly introduced service between Bucharest and Frankfurt will operate in the afternoon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (departure from Bucharest at 15:55 - arrival in Frankfurt at 17:35 and the return flight will take off in Frankfurt at 18:20, arriving in Bucharest at 21:45).The new flights enhance the company's frequency to Frankfurt, so that the passengers have a total of 13 flights a week between Bucharest and Frankfurt to pick from, operating both in the morning and in the afternoon, the company informed.
Prices start at 133 euros, all taxes included, for a roundtrip ticket bought on www.tarom.ro.
Tarom also mentions that the ticket price includes facilities such as hot meals and drinks on board, free baggage transportation, operation on main airports, free of charge check-in. Economy class passengers are allowed 23 kilos of checked baggage, and business class passengers have 3 pieces of baggage of 23 kilos each included in the ticket price. In addition, all passengers can carry free hand luggage weighing a maximum 10 kg.
