Romanian Dacia Car Worldwide Sales Up 2% In 1Q, To 81,600 Units

Sales of Romanian Dacia cars worldwide increased by 2% in the first quarter of 2011, to 81,600 units from 79,850 units in the same period last year, as the decline of the Logan and Sandero models was offset by solid sales of the Duster SUV, French group Renault announced. Dacia's sales on the light commercial vehicles segment decreased by 13% to 5,000 units, from 5,640 last year.
