APIA: Car market falls 11.9% in Q1

The sales of new vehicles (cars plus commercial vehicles) fell by 11.9% to 17,848 units in Q1 from 20,260 units in January-March 2010, according to the statistics of the Association of Car Makers and Importers (APIA).The sales of new cars on the Romanian market stood in Q1 2011 at 14,751 units, down 17.7% from the same period in 2010, when sales stood at 17,920 units.
