Romania imported 6,190 tons of perfume and exported 813 tons
Romania imported 6,190 tons of perfume worth 69.9 million euro last year, up by 54.6% against the previous year,a publication of INS says. At the same time, they exported 813 tons by 22.4% more than in 2013. The total value of perfume exports was 21.3 million euro.
The biggest quantity was imported from the UK, 2024 tons (720,000 euro) and Poland – 2,245 tons(18.4 million euro). As regards export, the biggest quantity went to Bulgaria – 388 tons (4.8 million euro) and the Republic of Moldova – 102 tons (878,000 euro).
Last year Romania exported 1,764 tons of beauty products and make –up and skin care products worth 23.9 million euro and imported 13,054 tons worth 107,5 million euro.
According to INS, Romania had last year, trading relations with 212 countries. Even so, the majority of the international trade was with some dominant partner countries.
In 2014, the most important 10 export markets represented 63.2% of the total of Romania’s exports, lwhile the first 10 partner countries for import made 67.5% of the total of imports.
The value of imports made by Romania in 2014 surpassed 58.5 billion euro, up by 5.8% against the previous year, the highest share of this kind of trade being with the countries in the EU, 75.4% of the total, the INS data show.
According to the statistics, at the level of last year, the value of imports from Germany was by 9.5% higher than the previous year, the mostly frequently traded products being represented by cars, apparata and electrical equipment, recording equipment and image recording equipment,transport means and transport materials, metals , chemical products, textiles.
