Romania's food trade deficit in relation with extra and intra-Community countries dropped by 13.6 percent in the first nine months of 2011, to 600 million euros from 695 million euros in the same period of 2010, according to data remitted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR).Romania's exports rose by 27.5 percent in first nine months of 2011, totaling 2.595 billion euros, while imports registered a growth of 17 percent.
