Real estate : Price of one room apartments in big cities and Bucharest
The average price of a single room apartment in big cities in Romania is 30,000 euro, the biggest price being registered in Bucharest – over 41,000 euro.Buyers with low budget can become owners with 15,000 euro or less. The most accessible apartments are in old block of flats, with less comfort, a press release of the site imobiliare.ro shows.
Bucharest ranks first in the top of cities with the most expensive one room apartments (old and new) with an average price of 41,292 euro in November (for an average area of 36 square meters).
There are also properties for sale at lower prices. The cheapest available one room apartment on imobiliare.ro is a property sold at auction with a starting price of 6000 euro. With an area of 29 sq.m. the apartment is close to Titan park, 8th floor in an old apartment building. In the same area a single room apartment is sold for 13,000 euro, with an area of 17 sq.m. located on the second floor of an old building with four floors.In Cotroceni area a similar apartment located in the attic of a house built in 1940 can be bought with 15,000 euro. It has 33 sq.m. and needs renovation.
Cluj Napoca
In Cluj Napoca a single room apartment costs, on the average, 33,730 euro (for 36 sq.m). Buyers with a limited budget can find more accessible houses, even if they are smaller. In Gheorgheni area, an 11 sq.m apartment with less comfort is sold for 12,500 euro. The room was renovated and is on the second floor of a block of flats built before 1990.
On the other hand, another apartment located in Marasesti area can be bought for 18,000 euro, for an area of 15 sq.m. and located on the top floor of a four story apartment building.
Timisoara
In Timisoara, the average price for a single room apartment is 31,387 euro (for an area of 33 sq.m.). With only 12,000 euro you can buy a newly built apartment of 11 sq.m. completely furnished.
Constanta
In Constanta the average purchase price for a single room apartment is 29,429 euro (for 32 sq.m.). In Inel II area a single room flat of 12 square meters sells for 8,800 euro. The apartment is on the third floor of an old apartment building and is renovated.
At the same time a similar flat of 20 sq.m. is sold for 10,000 euro in CET area, on the first floor of an old block of flats built before 1990. In the same area a similar property located on the third floor and renovated can be bought for 13,000 euro.
Brasov
In Brasov, the average price of a single room apartment is 29,044 euro for 33 square meters. In Craiter area a flat of 18 sq.m. sells for 8,500 euro. The flat is on the top floor of an old building with three floors and needs renovation.In Bartolomeu area an apartment of 28 sq.m. can be bought with 12,000 euro. It is located on the ground floor of a four-story apartment building built before 1990. In Noua area a flat of 19 sq.m. costs 12,900 euro. The renovated property is on the ground floor of an apartment building built before 1980.
The average price of a flat of 34 sq.m. in Iasi is 28,228 euro. In Baza III area, a single room flat of 18 sq.m is sold for 10,000 euro, The flat is on the second floor of an old apartment building which was renovated and equipped with air conditioning. Another flat of 17 sq.m. in Frumoasa area can be bought at the same price. It was recently renovated and is fully furnished.
