Real Estate: Construction of dwellings, growth of 10.39 percent
In 2015, 47,017 dwellings went into use, in a year-on-year growth of 10.39 percent, according to data released on Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics.
By residential area, the proportion of dwelling constructions in urban areas was up to 52.8pct, and in rural areas down to 47.2pct.
By financing sources, 4,026 more dwellings were built on private funds, compared to 2014, and 402 more on public funds.
By development regions, the number of completed dwellings advanced by 2,751 in Bucharest-Ilfov, by 1,227 in Centre, by 848 in Northeast, by 536 in West, by 25 in Southeast, and by 20 in South-Muntenia, and declined by 855 in Northwest and by 94 in Southwest-Oltenia.
In the fourth quarter of 2015, 15,843 dwellings went into use, up by 1,809 on a Q4 2014 basis.
