A business owner can benefit from a rent less than 10 euros / square meter / month in downtown of any big city of the country , even in Bucharest, reveals an analysis made by the online platform SpatiiComerciale.ro.
In the historic center, for example, the cheapest offer listed on SpatiiComerciale.ro refers to an area of 700 square meters, which can be rented for 5,000 euros / month , ie 7.14 euros / sqm / month. In Dorobanti, a commercial space of 120 square meters can be rented for about 1,200 euros / month, respectively 10 euros / sqm / month.
In the most important commercial areas of Bucharest, Magheru Boulevard and Victoria Avenue, rates required by owners start at about 40 euros / sqm / month , even if , for spaces located on the side streets in Victoria - Romana - University zone, there are also prices of 20 euros / sqm / month.
In other major cities of the country, the minimum required rents for commercial spaces in central areas fall below 10 euros / sqm / month. In Timisoara ( west) , near the Central Park, an area of 90 square meters can be rented for 850 euros / month , or around 9.44 euros / sqm / month.
In Brasov (center ), in the Civic Center area, a space of 250 square meters, located at the ground floor of an apartment building, has a price of 1,250 euros / month, respectively 5 euros / sqm / month.
In Constanta (south- east), on Mamaia Boulevard , a space of 80 square meters can be rented for 400 euro / month , or 5 euros / sqm / month.
The owner of a villa in Cluj- Napoca ( northwest) city center offers an area of 200 square meters at a rent of 700 euros/month, which is equivalent to a monthly rate of 3.5 euros / sqm.
