Number of Romanians with Facebook account reaches 7.2 million, in April
The number of Romanians who have a Facebook account in April this year reached 7.2 million, increasing 2.85 per cent from the last report of February, show the data quantified by facebrands.ro, a website monitoring the pages created on the popular social media network, in Romania.
According to Facebrands statistics, the persons aged from 25 to 34 years (29.8 per cent of the total) hold the first place in terms of frequently logging on Facebook.
The following places are taken by persons aged between 35 and 44 years (17.4 per cent) and those between 13 and 17 years (13.5 per cent).
The balance between the persons using Facebook social network leans on men\\\'s side (with 65 per cent of the accounts). A share of 35 per cent of the Facebook users are women, while from the civil status stand, married persons take the first place (51.86 per cent), followed by single persons, with 30.25 per cent of the total.
Facebrands.ro is the website monitoring the Facebook pages created by persons and institutions (companies, NGOs, etc) and showing the increase in their number of fans, together with other pages of the same category.
