Infrastructure : Softronic inaugurates its second Hyperion train
Softronic Craiova inaugurated on Monday morning its second multi-unit Hyperion train through a maiden voyage that left the railway station of Craiova, at 7:30 am, and is scheduled to arrive in Bucharest's Northern Railway Station at 10:30 am. Radu Zlatian, a Softronic consultant said that the second train produced by the Craiova-based train maker will run as of September 21 on the route Craiova — Bucharest — Brasov, with departure from Craiova at 7:30 am, and the first Hyperion train, which was commissioned a year ago, will run on the route Craiova — Bucharest — Constanta, departing from Craiova at 6:45 am.
Softronic company of Craiova is currently one of the most important Romanian rolling stock producers, with the Hyperion train being among the best in Europe from a technological viewpoint.
