Infrastructure: Romanian-Italian association will modernize Bucharest-Adunatii Copaceni road for 95 million lei
CNADNR will pay 94.4 million lei, VAT included, to a Romanian-Italian association for the modernization of a section of 11.6 km of National Road 5, Bucharest-Adunatii Copaceni. The initial contract signed with Romstrade was cancelled two years ago.
There was a tender opened by the association Eurogen Aninoasa branch - Aleandri- Beozzo Costruzioni- Smart Building Project.The total value of the contract is 76.1 million lei, 85% of which is represented by a European Commission grant.
The works will be completed in one year and will be followed by a two year warranty period.
The initial contract had been granted in 2011 to Romstrade, a company controlled by businessman Nelu Iordache, for 80.2 million lei. CNADNR cancelled the contract in 2012 and resumed purchase procedures. Nelu Iordache was tried for embezzling European funds and Romstrade became insolvent in December 2012.
