Infrastructure: Romanian Airport chosen by Turkish Airlines as bad weather back-up

“Traian Vuia” International Airport in Timisoara was chosen as bad weather back-up by Turkish Airlines in case airplanes of the Turkish company cannot land in Belgrade (Serbia) due to fog and will be directed to Timisoara, according to a press release issued on Friday by the Romanian airport.
“Traian Vuia” Airport is also used as back-up airport by Air Serbia, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Wizz Air and Tarom companies especially in winter.
