Infrastructure: PM Ponta: We will have a rising debt level of 1.2 billion lei for local infrastructure projects
Premier Victor Ponta announced on Monday at Victoria Palace that following negotiations with IMF, WB and EC on the 2014 budget they decided to increase the level of debts for infrastructure projects of local authorities by 1.2 billion lei and an increase of co-financing of 3% for European funds.
“We will have an increase of the debt level for infrastructure projects for local authorities of 1.2 billion lei and a rise of co-financing for European funds to 3%. We will also have a budget buffer to be able to sign and begin important infrastructure projects. Firstly the Comarnic-Brasov highway project and then Suplacu de Barcau-Bor highway, “ said premier Ponta. He announced that the government completed negotiations with IMF, the World Bank and EC on the 2014 budget and priorities for next year.
