Infrastructure : Hungarian ForMin: Not having a link between motorways A1 and M43 in Romania and Hungary, respectively, is unacceptable
Hungary's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on Thursday said having no connection between motorways A1 and M43 in Romania and Hungary, respectively, is unacceptable, adding that such connection will be achieved this July.
"We will finally overcome the unfortunate situation of having no connection between the motorways in the two countries. In July, we will open a link between the two motorways - A1 and M43. Not having this link is unacceptable, but on July we will have it," Szijjarto told a joint press conference in Budapest with Romania's Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu.
Aurescu said in his turn that achieving the link between the two motorways is a project that will help even more traffic at the common border of the two countries and more than that.
