Infrastructure: Bihor County Council and Oradea Town Hall set up local air company

Ilie Bolojan, the president of Bihor County Council and Florin Birta, the mayor of Oradea announced the setting up of a local air company to ensure the town's better connections with the rest of the country and with Europe. Since March 2022, the company will operate regular flights to Bucharest and will buy two airplanes no later than January.

Ile Bolojan and Florin Birta announced, at a press conference, the singing of a collaboration protocol for setting up a local air company.

The objective assumed by the protocol is to begin operating Oradea-Bucharest flights (at least 3 flights daily during the week and 2 flights daily in weekends) as of March 2022. Flights to one or two international airports in Western Europe (at least one flight daily) will become operational in October 2022.
