Agriculture: About 3.22 million farms reviewed in Romania over May 10- July 31, 2021

About 3.22 million farms were reviewed in Romania over May 10- July 31, 2021, about 93% of them being farms using lands and owning animal herds or carry out activities maintaining farming land in the best agricultural and environment conditions.

“About 90% of farms where the interview was made are farms without juridical status (individual farms, authorized physical persons, family enterprises, individual enterprises)” the press release mentions.

According to it, farms were reviewed by the National Statistics Institute, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with technical support from the Service of Special Telecommunications, together with their territorial structures.

The whole process of data storage was monitored by means of a data

collection application developed by Survey Solutions.
