Healthcare: Eurostat: Romania, last in the EU in terms of healthcare spending

Romania ranks last in the European Union in 2016 in terms of earmark of the GDP for healthcare (5 percent), while France (11.5 percent), Germany (11.1 percent) and Sweden stand at the opposite pole, the data published on Thursday by Eurostat revealed.By comparison, Bulgaria allocated a share of 8.23 percent of the GDP for healthcare, the Czech Republic 7.14 of the GDP, Hungary - 7.36 percent of the GDP and Poland - 6.52 percent of the GDP.Romania ranks ...
