Fresh fruit, potatoes, sugar, honey and water, sewerage and waste disposal witnessed the highest price hikes in May compared to April, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics. (INS). The food price rose by an average 0.21 percent. Fresh fruit prices soared by 6.71 percent, the potatoes by 3.59, honey by 1.41 percent and sugar by 1.24 percent.
