Foreign arrivals in Romania registered at the border checkpoints stood at 696,600 in September 2011, up 6.9 percent from September 2010, the National Statistics Institute (INS) reports in a press release released on Friday.Most of the foreign visitors, or 93.1 percent, came from Europe, 56.5 percent of them form other European Union member states.
