Cars: Tractor imports exceed 230 million euros in first 4 months of 2019

In the first 4 months of the ongoing year, Romania imported  tractors of 230.462 million euros, on the drop by 3% against the same period of 2018 (237.427 million euros), according to centralized data of the National Statistics Institute.

In January 2019, tractor imports amounted to 44.178 million euros, in February 57.862 million euros, in March 69.025 million euros, and in April 59.397 million euros and represented 0.8% of total imports.

In 2018, tractor imports grew by 3.7% from 688.452 million euros in 2017, to 714.121 million euros.

Romania's agriculture had over 209,000 tractors at the end of 2018, according to data presented in November 2018 by Petre Daea, the minister of agriculture.
