Cars : Dacia launching new generations of Logan, Sandero and Sander Stepway
Dacia is launching the second generation of Logan, Sandero and Sander Stepway, in Romania, on Tuesday. The new brands have been first presented at the Paris Motor Show, end in Sept.
The new Logan, an accessible family car of fluid and elegant lines is available in Romania for a price starting from 6,690 euros (VAT included) and the orders for the Romanian market began on Nov 9.
The new Sandero is a compact city car of modern design with 5 spacious seats, and its starting price is 6,990 euros, VAT included.
Sandero Stepway is more accessible than the previous model on most of the markets. In Romania it costs 10,800 euros, VAT included, and it its fueled on TCe 90 gasoline, while the Diesel model costs 12,200 euros, VAT included.
With six new models presented in 2012, the Dacia car range is by far the youngest in Europe. The Break MCV brand ceased being manufactured late this year when Duster turns three.
Dacia is also the most dynamic brand in Europe, its annual sales increasing eight times, during 2005-2011. In the middle of the year, Dacia exceeded the threshold of two million vehicles sold worldwide, since the Logan model was launched in 2004.
