Agriculture : The minister of agriculture wants a country brand for Romanian food
The minister of agriculture started the procedures for the creation of a country brand for food to be promoted both in Romania and abroad, the minister of agriculture Daniel Constantin said on Tuesday. ‘We started at the level of the ministry the procedure to create a country brand for all Romanian produce. We want to achieve a partnership with agricultural producers,a campaign of promotion for Romanian produce, to take place in Romania and abroad’ Constantin said. He said the country brand wants to speak about the authenticity of the Romanian produce.‘We will probably have the project ready in one month. I don’t think it will be a project with high value and probably the funds will be given by the ministry budget. We will take part with the country brand to fairs’,he added.
