Abdinbayov: Big infrastructure projects in Romania, target for Azeri investors
The businessmen in Azerbaijan admit that Romania can be a vast market for absorbing some huge investments and the big infrastructure projects are regarded as a target the Azeri investors are capable of managing, said Farid Abdinbayov, charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Romania, in an interview to Agerpres.
The Azeri investors are already on the European market and this means that there will follow several investments as long as they have a favorable business climate in the states under consideration, says Farid Abdinbayov. At present the oil and gas infrastructure and the petrochemical sector are the priority fields Romania offers. Still, the Azeri investors do not want to confine themselves to these sectors. The big infrastructure projects are also considered a target the Azeri investors are capable of managing from a financial and professional point of view. There are already a few companies that voiced powerful and serious interest in getting involved in the major infrastructure projects of Romania, added the charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He also made it clear that the recent visit paid by Premier Victor Ponta to the Republic of Azerbaijan was an impetus to strengthening the economic and trade relations, especially for ensuring the mutual support of investments.
