The Ukrainian geophysical prospecting company VIKOIL LTD Kiev wants to win next year at least three contracts in the public tenders for geophysical prospecting services, Gryshanenko Vladimir, the manager of the Bucharest subsidiary of the company, told Agerpres on Tuesday.
'Our company is already participating in a tender and we intend to gain. For next year, our goal is to win at least three tenders, and also to do all these works the best we can so as the other companies learn about us,' said Gryshanenko Vladimir.
The company opened its Bucharest headquarters in October this year and now is conducting interviews to hire Romanian specialists.
According to Gryshanenko, the company can bring equipment in Ukraine, or it can buy it from the local market or other markets.
'We are a company expanding dynamically and the market in Romania is of special interest to us. We believe that on the Romania geophysical services market there are not sufficiently many competitors. For this reason we have opened a subsidiary and are willing to invest and to purchase the necessary equipment. Our strategy entails of services, from prospecting to establishing extraction methods,' said Gryshanenko Vladimir.
Ukrainian geophysical prospecting company Vikoil Ltd Kiev was set up in 2003 and is also present in Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
