Transelectrica finalised investments of 166 million lei in the first part of the year
The National Company of Transport of Electricity Transelectrica announced on Wednesday that in the first quarter were finalised and put to function investments worth approximately 166 million lei.
As a total, Transelectrica has planned for this year investments of 400 million lei,out of which almost 120 million is for new projects.
Out of these, the main objectives are: the air electricity line of 400 kV for interconnection Resita (Romania)-Pancevo (Serbia); the modernisation of the electricity unit 400/110/10kV Cluj Est; the replacement of autotransformers and transformers in the electricity units. The second stage –lotI – replacement AT1 – 200 MVA from a unit 220/110 kV Craiova Nord as well as the 220/110 kV Arefu;the modernisation of the command system –control-protection of the unit 220/110/20kVSardanesti;the modernisation of the electricity unit 110kV and 20 kV Suceava – second stage; cells 110kV,cell 220kV –FAI, unit 20kV; optical fibre implementation on LEA 220 kV Fundeni –BraziVest –lot 1.
Other investments made in the connextion of Turnu Magurele, Mostistea, Stalpu,Teleajen to the optical fibre network of CNTEE Transelectrica, lot2.
The National Company for the transport of electricity Transelectrica SA is the transport and system operator of Romania, which manages, operates, modernises and develops the transport grid which covers 81 electricity transformation units with a capacity of over 38,000 MVA and 8,834.4 km of air electricity lines of 100220kV, 400 kVand750kV under the management of eight transport branches.
The company has almost2,200 employees and is under the authority of the ministry of economy.
Transelectrica has a capitalisation of 1,66 billion lei.
