The demand for gas is estimated at 9.105 million MWh in August 2012
The total demand for natural gas in August is estimated at 9.105 million MWh, according to the proposal in the report made by Transgaz and sent to the National Authority of Regulation in Energy (ANRE).The demand on the regulated market is estimated by Transgaz at 1.335 million MWh out of which 663.223 MWh for non-household consumers and 623,583 MWh for the household owners. The demand on the market for eligible consumers is estimated to be 7.012 million MWh and the technological consumption ( which could not use the mixture of gas) of 758.164 `mwh.
The mixture of gas for non-household consumers, with the exception of thermal energy producers, will be composed of gas from domestic production – 67.20% and import – 32.8% according to the Transgaz proposal.
ANRE approved, as regards the mixture of gas for household and thermal energy producers, to have gas composed of 92% domestic production and 8% import.
For the non-household consumers, with the exception of thermal energy producers, ANRE announced a mixture made up of 71% gas from the domestic production and 29% from import. The storage programme for August includes a quantity of 2.205 million MWh.
