The growth of production and the sales of fuels will bring an increase by 15-20 percent in exports and implicitly an increase in the market share of our products in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova,' said Rompetrol's First Vice President, Azamat Zhangulov.

The ANEIR's classification numbers 1,000 companies, out of a total of 17,044 exporting companies, and the Rompetrol Group is present in the rankings with three companies - Rompetrol Refining (the 3rd position), Rompetrol Petrochemicals (the 69th place) and Rompetrol Gas (the 111st position).

Rompetrol Refining's contribution to Romania's state budget amounted, in the first nine months of the year, to over USD 907 million. The company's total contribution to the state budget in 2012 is estimated to exceed USD 1.2 billion, according to the company.
