Romanian Lighting Industry Forum 2015: Modern lighting, a solution to improve energy efficiency
Energy-efficient lighting, one of the most important solutions when it comes to implementing programmes to improve energy efficiency – a fundamental part of the next phase in Romania's energy strategy, will be in the spotlight at GOVNET Conferences' Lighting Industry Forum 2015, which will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at InterContinental Hotel in Bucharest.
Romania has already become compliant with the related European regulations by adopting the Law no. 121/2014 which introduced the provisions of the 2012/27/EU Directive in the Romanian legislation. In this context, energy-efficient lighting projects are not only a means to conform to the EU requirements, but also cost-effective solutions be it street lighting, public institutions, or private companies.
Accordingly, the main topics to be addressed during the Lighting Industry Forum 2015 concern both strategies and policies in connection with the introduction of modern lighting solutions in Romania, and the impact of implementing intelligent lighting programmes in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency.
The event will be attended by decision makers within the national and local authorities, technology providers, professional associations, facility management companies, logistics parks, office buildings, energy-intensive companies, banks, consultants, etc.
Romanian Lighting Industry Forum 2015 partners are: Amiras, Energobit Schreder Lighting, Luxten, Philips, Recolamp, Steinel.
