Romania’s coal production down 9.3 pct in H1 2018, imports up 24.8 pct

Romania’s net coal production totaled 2.05 million tonnes of oil equivalent (toe) in the first six months of 2018, a 9.3 percent lower figure than the same period of 2017, according to data from the National Institute for Statistics.
