Romania, last in installing wind turbines

The power of wind turbines installed in 2006 in Romania is 1.3 MW, while at EU level, the installed power of wind power capacities increased by 7,500 MW, a study of the European Wind Energy Association shows. According to the experts of the EWEA, at the level of 2006, the European Union countries installed wind –power energy-production capacities totalising 7,500 MW, 23% higher than 2005.
