Romania imports gas at about 400 dollars for 1,000 cubic metres, in 2013
The price Romania imported gas at in 2013 oscillated around 400 dollars for 1,000 cubic metres each month, according to the report on 2013 of the natural gas market, worked out by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE).
Thus, the year began with a price of 409 dollars for 1,000 cubic metres in January and ended with a price of 392 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres.
The highest price was recorded in March, namely 411 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres, and the lowest, in September, namely 390 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres.
The report also shows that last year Romania consumed 84.72 per cent gas of domestic production and the imported gas covered 15.28 per cent of the consumption.
At the end of last month, ANRE President Niculae Havrilet said that last year Romania paid for the imported gas one billion dollars less than in 2012.
According to the data released by the National Institute of Statistics (INS), last year Romania imported 50 per cent less gas than in 2012.
