Privatisation Cuprumin: the evaluations are between 40 and 80 million euro
The ministry of economy, the vice/chairman PNL Varujan Vosganian stated on Thursday that he presented the premier Victor Ponta the list of the companies interested by the privatisation of Cuprumin, by showing that following the evaluations, the price of sale would be between 40 and 80 million euro.
“I presented the prime minister the list of companies which manifested, through letters of intent their interest, and I also enclosed them to the preliminary announcement regarding Cuprumin.I can tell that there are eight companies, out of which three are among the first ten in the world. About the other five I don’t know exactly what to tell you, as some could have been made especially with contributions of capital which at present we cannot identify” Vosganian said on Thursday in a press conference at the PNL headquarters.
He mentioned that he had, along these days a dialogue with those lawyers’ practices which ensure the expertise in this case as well as with the ministry of environment to find out which are the environment commitments.
“At present, the evaluations are between 40 and 80 million euro but the threshold is excessive, probably the final figure of our offer would be somewhere around the minimum level” Vosganian said.
