Petrom to buy Shell Gas Romania SA and Trans Gas Services SRL

Petrom, the largest oil and gas producer in South Eastern Europe, has decided to exercise its pre-emption right regarding the purchase of a 55.53-percent stake in Shell Gas Romania SA and a 60-percent stake in Trans Gas Services SRL, Petrom reports.According to a press release of the company, Petrom will acquire Shell Gas Romania and Trans Gas Services SRL following the decision of Shell to exit LPG business in Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and Switzerland.
