Oil Terminal Constanta net profit grew by 83% in first semester
Oil Terminal Constanta, the operator of the Black Sea state oil terminal, obtained a net profit of 17.8 million lei in the first semester of the year, 83% higher than in the similar period of 2021 (9.73 million lei).
The net business figure of the company went up by about 39%, to 131.66 million lei, from 94.84 million lei in the first part of 2021.
The company transported 4.36 million tons of crude oil, gas, diesel oil and chemical products, in the first 6 months, 47% more than in the same period of lat year.
“The program made in semester 1, 2022 has 33.5% higher than the level approved for 6 months and on the rise by 47% compared to the level obtained in semester 1,2021,” the company shows.
The company carries out its activity in 3 storehouses with a total storing capacity of 1.4 million cubic meters.
For 2022, investment expenses are 50.82 million lei set up at the level of the investment financing source. In semester 1, 2022, the expense level for investments was 15.38 million lei, compared with the planned level of 23.9 million lei.
On June 30, 2022 the level of investment objectives (12.02 million lei), without investment credit returns, was 44.6% higher (+3.7 million lei) compared to the level obtained in semester 1, 2021 (8.3 million lei).
The Romanian state, represented by the Energy Ministry is the main shareholder and owns 59.62% of the social capital. The company has 950 employees.
Oil Terminal is listed at Bucharest Stock Exchange and has a market value of 95.51 million lei.
