Nuclearelectrica estimates for this year a net profit growing by 1% against last year

The energy producer Nuclearelectrica (SNN) estimates that they will obtain this year a net profit of 549.4 million lei, up by 1% against the preliminary result for last year, of 542.6 million lei, according to the budget draft regarding the income and the expenses of the company.

The document will be presented for approval in the General Shareholders Assembly to take place on 5th March.

Out of the profit of the company, 383.8 million lei will represent dividends to the state budget, and 81.4 million lei will be dividends for other shareholders, both values being up by 2%.

SNN budgeted their total income of 2.637 billion lei, up by 6% and total expenses of 1.988 billion lei, up by 8% against last year.

Similarly, the company will hire 214 people during this year, the total number of employees will rise from 2,153 to 2,367.

Salary expenses will increase by 7% and bonuses will be larger by 35%.
