Moldova to join Nabucco project, counts on Romania's support

The natural gas crisis forces the Moldova government to revise the energy resources scheme, given the fact that the country fully depends on Russian gas. In order to diversify its energy sources, the Kishinev officials hope to become part of the Nabucco project, Nezavisimaia gazeta reads, quoting recent statements of the deputy Economy Minister, Fedor Copaci. "We will attempt to obtain a connection to the gas pipeline that will cross Romania, by-passing Ukraine and Russia", said Copaci. ...
