MOL Romania invests almost 3 million euros in 3 new filling stations, enlarging network to 141 units
MOL Romania’s retail network reached 141 filling stations after the company opened three new units in Floresti (Cluj), Iasi and C?linesti (Arges), consolidating its distribution chain, a press release sent by the company to ACTMedia is saying.
“We invested almost 3 million euros in total in the new filling stations, which will serve customers in 3 different regions of Romania. We further strengthen our retail presence in the country, in our drive to pursue the growth strategy we have set out for the medium to long term. In addition, we continue to enlarge our top quality supply towards our clients and partners”, stated Kinga Daradics, MOL Romania CEO and Country Chairman.
The filling station in Floresti is the 11th one that MOL Romania operates in the Cluj County and it is located on the E60 European road, a major transit route. The 3,300 sqm station is optimally located to serve traffic from Cluj-Napoca to Oradea and the Transylvania highway. It has 3 multi-product pumps, featuring 2 high flow fuel dispensers, for fast refuel of commercial vehicles. The 80-sqm shop includes a food corner. The parking place can serve simultaneusly 2 passenger coaches.
The new Iasi filling station is the fourth in the county and it is situated in the city of Iasi, on Nicolina street, on a 2,733 sqm area, including a 70 sqm shop. The filling station is designed to serve both proximity customers as well as motorists in transit toward Vaslui or using the new ring-road of the city. It has three multi-product pumps, including two fast delivery nozzles, for commercial vehicles.
Moreover, in Floresti and Iai, motorists can pay the road-tax and use all the dedicated facilities for owners of MOL Gold and MOL Silver fuel cards or those specific for the Multibonus loyalty system.
In the 2 shops, customers can buy a variety of goods including convenience foods, snacks, drinks, confectionery, coffee, tobacco products, alcoholic drinks, MOL Dynamic leading-edge quality lubricants and EVOX premium car care products.
C?linesti hosts the fourth MOL Romania filling station in the Arges County, located on National Road 7, used by vehicles in transit between Bucharest and Pitesti. It is the first filling station that MOL Romania inaugurated under the new operating platform where our partner owns the filling station, the fuel and the shop merchandise, while MOL provides the brand, continuous supply of high quality fuel products and controls the operation.
The C?linesti filling station has a solid quality fuels portfolio: Tempo 95, Tempo Diesel and LPG. It has 2 multi-product pumps, featuring 1 high flow fuel pump, for fast refuel of commercial vehicles. MOL Gold and Silver fuel cards can be used here as in the whole MOL Romania network, while motorists can add up MultiBonus loyalty points each time they purchase in C?linesti.
