The potential investors interested in participating in the privatization of Hunedoara Energy Complex may submit a letter of intent in this sense until December 5, at the headquarters of the Department of Energy, according to an announcement posted on the institution's website.
The Government approved, through Governmental Decision 86 / March 6, 2013, the privatization strategy for Hunedoara Energy Complex by the method of share capital increase, by drawing a strategic investor and the acquisition by them of a 51% stake in the share capital of the company, under an operation of share capital increase through the issue of new shares.
The information to be made available by the company will contain only general information, with public character, and the visits will have a predominantly technical nature, for investors to assess the current state of the company, its prospects after privatization and a minimum investment volume.
'If potential investors do not voice interest [in this stage], this will not affect their possibility to participate in the subsequent stages of the privatization process,' reads the announcement.
